6-Month Warranty TERMS

Last Updated: 10 September 2026

Brass Essence provides a 6-Month Warranty on eligible products, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions stated below. The warranty period begins from the original date of purchase shown on a valid invoice.

Effective-date note: The 6-Month Warranty applies to eligible products invoiced on or after 19 September 2026. Earlier purchases retain the warranty coverage stated at the time of purchase.

1. ELIGIBLE PRODUCTS

This warranty applies only to Brass Essence products that expressly display a “6-Month Warranty” on the product page, packaging, warranty card or original invoice at the time of purchase.

Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, the warranty applies to the eligible brass material, brass component and applied finish of the product.

2. WARRANTY COVERAGE

Subject to verification and approval, the warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in the brass material or brass component of the product.

  • Structural failure of an eligible brass component resulting from a manufacturing defect during normal indoor use.

  • Abnormal peeling, flaking, blistering or failure of the applied finish resulting from a verified manufacturing defect under normal indoor use.

The warranty does not guarantee that the original colour, shade, gloss, texture or appearance will remain unchanged throughout the warranty period.

3. NATURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF BRASS

Brass is a natural metal and may gradually develop oxidation, tarnishing, patina, darkening, spotting or changes in colour and appearance due to age, handling, climate, humidity and environmental conditions.

These natural changes are characteristics of brass and are not considered manufacturing defects. They are therefore not covered under this warranty.

4. DECORATIVE AND NATURAL COMPONENTS

Decorative, fragile or natural components—including marble, crystal, glass, ceramic, acrylic, wood, leather, silicone and similar materials—are not covered under the six-month warranty unless specifically stated otherwise in writing by Brass Essence.

Natural variations in colour, grain, pattern, veining, texture, size or appearance are not defects.

Breakage, cracking, chipping, separation or physical damage occurring after delivery or during installation, use, removal or reinstallation is not covered.

Where a product includes both a brass component and a decorative or natural component, the warranty applies only to the eligible brass component and covered applied finish.

5. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, ageing, fading or colour variation.

  • Natural oxidation, tarnishing, patina, spotting, darkening or discolouration.

  • Gradual changes in colour, shade, gloss, texture or appearance.

  • Scratches, dents, chips, abrasion, bending, breakage or other physical damage.

  • Damage caused by water, wet or damp cloths, excessive moisture, humidity, hard water, leakage or prolonged damp conditions.

  • Damage caused by acids, chemicals, detergents, sanitizers, solvents, bleach, metal polish, abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds or other cleaning agents.

  • Damage caused during installation, removal, reinstallation, transportation or storage after delivery.

  • Incorrect installation, drilling or alignment.

  • Damage caused by power tools, impact drivers, over-tightening, incorrect screws or unsuitable fittings.

  • Misuse, negligence, excessive force, abnormal load or improper handling.

  • Outdoor use or use in continuously wet or high-moisture environments unless the product is specifically stated to be suitable for such use.

  • Damage caused by modification, alteration, unauthorised repair or refinishing.

  • Accidental damage or damage resulting from circumstances outside the reasonable control of Brass Essence.

  • Products purchased from unauthorised sellers without a valid Brass Essence invoice or verifiable Brass Essence order record.

  • Labour, carpenter, installation, drilling, removal, reinstallation, furniture repair, project-delay or third-party service charges.

  • Indirect, incidental or consequential losses, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

6. DELIVERY DAMAGE, SHORTAGE OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

Products received damaged, incomplete or incorrectly supplied must be reported within 36 hours of delivery.

The customer must preserve the original packaging and provide the order number, invoice and clear photographs or videos showing the condition of the parcel and product.

Delivery-related claims are handled under the Brass Essence Return and Refund Policy and are separate from this six-month warranty.

7. COMPULSORY WARRANTY REGISTRATION

To activate the voluntary Brass Essence 6-Month Warranty, the customer must register the eligible product through the official Brass Essence Warranty Registration page within 3 calendar days of delivery.

For purchases made directly from the Brass Essence showroom or collected personally, registration must be completed within 3 calendar days from the invoice date.

A valid original invoice or verifiable Brass Essence order record must be uploaded during registration.

If registration is not completed within the applicable 3-day period, the voluntary Brass Essence 6‑Month Warranty will not be activated.

Registration does not automatically confirm that a future claim is covered. Every claim remains subject to the warranty terms, exclusions, verification and inspection.

This registration requirement does not exclude, restrict or override any statutory rights available under applicable consumer-protection laws.

8. HOW TO SUBMIT A WARRANTY CLAIM

A warranty claim must be submitted within 6 months from the original invoice date.

The customer must provide:

  • Full name and registered contact details.

  • Order number or original invoice.

  • Product name or model number.

  • Quantity affected.

  • Date on which the issue was first noticed.

  • Clear photographs and videos showing the claimed defect.

  • A photograph showing the complete product and its installation location.

  • Any additional information reasonably required by Brass Essence to assess the claim.

Claims may be submitted through the Brass Essence warranty-claim facility or by emailing support@brassessence.in.

Submitting a claim does not automatically confirm warranty eligibility.

9. WARRANTY CLAIM ASSESSMENT

All warranty claims are subject to verification and inspection by Brass Essence.

Brass Essence may request additional photographs, videos, installation information or other reasonable evidence.

Brass Essence may also require the affected product to be returned or made available for physical inspection before approving a claim.

A claim may be rejected if the product is unavailable for reasonable verification or if the evidence indicates that the issue resulted from an excluded cause.

10. WARRANTY RESOLUTION

If Brass Essence determines that the product has an eligible manufacturing defect covered under this warranty, Brass Essence may provide one of the following resolutions, as appropriate:

  1. Technical assistance or a replacement fixing component;

  2. Repair of the affected product or component;

  3. Replacement of the affected product with the same model; or

  4. Replacement with a reasonably comparable product where the original model, finish or design is unavailable.

A monetary refund may be considered only when repair, replacement with the same product and a reasonably comparable replacement are unavailable.

The warranty applies only to the affected and approved product or component. It does not automatically apply to every product appearing on the same invoice.

The customer’s preferred resolution may be considered but does not automatically determine the resolution offered.

11. REPLACEMENT AND WARRANTY PERIOD

The warranty remains valid for 6 months from the original purchase date.

A repair, replacement product or replacement component does not restart or extend the original warranty period, except where required by applicable law.

Only one approved warranty resolution will ordinarily be provided for each affected product, subject to applicable law.

12. SHIPPING AND INSPECTION CHARGES

Brass Essence will inform the customer whether the affected product must be returned for inspection.

For an approved warranty claim within India, Brass Essence will bear reasonable standard shipping charges required for the approved repair or replacement.

If inspection establishes that the reported issue is not covered by the warranty, the customer may be required to bear the applicable return, re-delivery or transportation charges.

Express delivery, premium delivery, carpenter charges, installation, removal, reinstallation and third-party service expenses are not covered.

For international warranty claims, customs duties, taxes, clearance charges, return transportation and international delivery expenses will ordinarily be payable by the customer unless Brass Essence agrees otherwise in writing.

13. CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To protect the product and its finish:

  • Clean the product only with a clean, soft and dry microfiber cloth.

  • Do not use water for cleaning.

  • Do not use a wet or damp cloth.

  • Do not use acids, chemicals, detergents, sanitizers, solvents, bleach or other cleaning agents.

  • Do not use metal polish, abrasive cleaners, steel wool or polishing compounds.

  • Keep the product away from excessive moisture, hard water, leakage and prolonged damp conditions.

  • Periodically check the fixing screws manually and carefully. Do not over-tighten them.

Damage, staining, discolouration, peeling, blistering or deterioration caused by water, moisture, chemicals, cleaners, polish or improper care is not covered under the warranty.

14. NON-TRANSFERABILITY

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable unless Brass Essence approves otherwise in writing or transferability is required under applicable law.

A valid original invoice or verifiable Brass Essence order record may be required.

15. FALSE OR MISLEADING CLAIMS

Brass Essence reserves the right to reject claims supported by altered, invalid or fraudulent invoices, misleading information, manipulated evidence or evidence that does not correspond with the claimed product.

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The warranty applies only to the eligible affected product or component.

Except where liability cannot legally be excluded, Brass Essence will not be responsible for carpenter charges, installation charges, removal or reinstallation expenses, furniture damage, project delays, loss of use or other indirect or consequential losses.

Brass Essence’s maximum liability under this warranty will not exceed the amount originally paid for the affected product, subject to applicable law.

17. STATUTORY RIGHTS

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict or override, any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable consumer-protection laws.
